“…As a Mac person, this item made sense to me since it is geared to Mac first. From what I understand, it is easily used by PC types also. When I got it, I just hooked it up, reprogramed my Time Machine and that’s been about it. It backs up quickly and, best yet, I don’t have to be the one to instigate the process….I am thrilled with this purchase (am I really saying I’m thrilled with a hard drive purchase??). It sits quietly (well, it does hum a bit but it doesn’t bother me at all) on my desk and takes up little room. It is also quite easy to install and use. Should’ve done this ages ago!
